Is Wild West Bass Youth Sereis a Non-Profit organization?

Yes, Wild West Bass Youth Series (WWBYS) is a registered non-profit organizaion. Interested in becoming a supporter of the future generation of anglers? Click here to find out more!

DO YOU HAVE TO BE A MEMBER?

Anglers must be a member to fish the Wild West Bass Youth Series (WWBYS) to fish with WWBYS affiliated clubs. You don't have to be a member to fish WWBYS Opens.  

WHAT IS THE MEMBERSHIP FOR?

WWBYS Membership helps cover operational costs and insurance. Each member will receive a discounted entry for WWBYS Opens.

HOW MUCH IS THE MEMBERSHIP FEE?

Membership fee for NEW members is $50 Wild West Bass Youth Series (WWBYS).

Returning WWBYS members is $25 per angler, must have your previous membership ID number to receive the discounted price.

 

HOW OLD ARE THE ANGLERS?

Juniors are 8yrs old through 8th Grade.
High Schoolers are 9th to 12th Grade.

DO I NEED A BOAT AND TEAMMATE?

To fish in the Opens and the Championship, anglers must come as a two-person team and provide their boat and captain.

Each WWBYS-affiliated club may make their own requirements for their regular season events.

HOW LONG ARE THE TOURNAMENTS?

The tournament times are set by the Tournament director. Typically, tournaments will begin at nautical safe light and end by 3:00PM.

DOES THE BOAT CAPTAIN NEED TO BE MEMBER OF WILD WEST BASS TRAIL?

No, but highly recommended.

HOW DO I START A CLUB IN MY AREA?

Currently we only have two affiliated pilot clubs in Arizona. We are encouraging each region to develop their own affiliated club. More information can be found here
